This high-performance telescopic rod is constructed from high modulus carbon embedded in a nanocomposite matrix. Nanocomposite, which is the latest in composite material technology, is obtained through the process of dispersing inert charges into a resin material, whereby the mechanical properties of the final product are significantly improved. The result is a rod that is slim, lightweight and perfectly balanced, and yet incredibly powerful, fast and responsive. In addition, it provides good line control in rough surf conditions and will not flex when retrieving heavy leads or when a large amount of weed gets caught on your line. The Coguaro is built for long-range casting and even a simple overhead cast will produce excellent results. Best performance can be achieved by starting the cast slowly, then accelerating gradually until maximum speed is reached just before stopping the rod a the end of the cast. This technique allows the rod to be effectively loaded resulting in unequalled casting performance. Furthermore, considering the construction and weight distribution of the Coguaro, you will not need to angle the cast too much in order to achieve the maximum casting distance. This rod comes in a choice of three weights - 140, 170 and 200g - with optimal casting weights of 125, 150 and 170g, respectively. All models are six-piece and extend to a length of 4.30 mt.
